Navigating the globe and promoting water safety through music

Jorja, Tiara, Aaliyah, Kendyl, Naashia, Ajay and Aven from Room 17 have been learning their instruments since Week 5. They plan to create a musical composition with a focus linked to teach people how to use navigation tools such as maps and a compass. We were learning about the texture of music last week, and we had a fun time creating our own percussion music using suggested formations during Week 6.    

William, Violet, Priyanka, Samantha, Jorale, Rayleina, Luke, Lorraine, Liam, Ezekiel and Jasmine from Room 14 have started learning instruments on Tuesday. Their goal is to create a musical composition that encourages people wear life jackets while being involved in water activities. We had a great time learning simple rhythm notations this week that are going to be useful for making music.
