Emeka and Mujeeb from Room 9 hoped to endow whanau Cooper with the Hulk's superhuman strength to help them get through a big day of games, racing and chanting. We will hear at assembly today if it was to enough to take out enough points to be the winning whanau. It was an amazing day and we can't wait for the next sports day when we can bring these banners out again.

Swimming Sports
In preparation for our school swimming sports, which was held on Friday, students have been in a frenzy creating signs, banners, chants and props to support their whanau. Cale and Andre from Room 21 came to Art with an enormous old blue sheet from home and a picture of a shark. We projected the image onto the sheet so they were able to chalk the outlines in, then, with not a lot of previous painting experience between them, they worked really hard to complete this fantastic banner for whanau Mansfield. Just the sight of it would make anyone swim faster! Well done boys.
